Best Supporting Role: A Marion Independent School District faculty or staff member who has had the most impact on the lives of his/her students and/or the community.

Best Leading Role: A family that has at least three generations (i.e., parents, children, grandchildren) of Marion alumni. The family matriarch and/or patriarch should be nominated.

Best Writer: A published journalist or author who has written positive stories/commentaries for or about Marion (city and/or school district).

Best Director: A Marion alum or resident who has served as an example to others and “directed” future generations by setting a good example through giving back to the community.
