Class Reunions

If hosting a reunion, contact the Foundation office at (319) 377-4691 x1110. Reunion details can be published below. The Foundation can provide reunion organizers with contact lists of classmates, label and postcard printing, and support for organizing school and stadium tours. (We are unable to provide postage for reunion mailings.) Reunion organizers can help the Foundation by providing classmate updates such as moves, deaths, etc. 

We encourage classes to schedule reunions during the fall 2025 homecoming game or the Marion Foundation Golf Classic (both dates TBA). Even if you are not a golfer, we always welcome volunteers! Proceeds from events like these help us to keep our alumni database subscription, assist with reunion print materials, and more. If you’d like to find out how other class reunion groups have given back, contact the Foundation office.

Friday, June 27 – casual gathering at UPTOWN SNUG in Marion anytime after
6 pm. Marion apparel encouraged!

Saturday, June 28 –

Marion High School
9 am- Tour of new stadium and auditorium & a KAZOO MARCHING
BAND performance. If you’ve ever wanted to march with the kazoo band this will
be your opportunity. Kazoos will be provided and those interested will march on
the field to the tune “When the Saints Go Marching In”. Come see the facility and
join the fun in marching:) We need 10 people to make this happen.

American Legion 298, Marion
5 pm- Social hour – bar will be open – buy your own

5:30- possible group picture by caboose

6:00- dinner – THIS IS NOW FREE with a generous donation from a
classmate. All classmates plus 1 will be paid for. THANK YOU to our donor
for trying to make sure everyone will come. Drinks from the bar will be on your
own. Dinner catered by LJ’s.

7:00- Trivia with John S. – see questions to help make this entertaining
