Today was an exciting day for the Marion School Foundation as we surprised the recipients of the Fall 2023 Marion Foundation Grants with their awards!
We are pleased to provide grant support for the following projects:
- Small Group Knowledge Books for Longfellow Elementary
- Band Instruments for Vernon Middle School
- Library Books for Marion High School
- College for Kids Scholarships for Vernon Middle School Students (Not Pictured)
The Marion Foundation’s grant program provides teachers an opportunity to receive funding for projects that benefit students in the Marion Independent School District. Grants are made possible because of generous contributions the Foundation receives throughout the year from both businesses and individuals as well as a number of educational funds that are invested with the Foundation for long-term benefit.
