The Marion Independent School Foundation & Alumni Association is exited to share that we recently received grant funding in the amount of $6,500 from GreenState Credit Union for three projects which will run during the 2022-2023 school year. Funds will support the following initiatives:
- Families and Schools Together(FASTWORKS), which offers monthly family engagement events at Longfellow and Starry Elementary, Francis Marion Intermediate and Vernon Middle School. These events connect parents and students to each other, school staff and to important community resources.
- 2023 Senior Awards Night reception at Marion High School, recognizing graduating seniors for educational successes, volunteer service and the receipt of scholarship awards.
- Hole Sponsorship and Foursome Combo for the Friday, September 30th Marion Foundation Golf Classic at Gardner Golf Course (Squaw Creek) in Marion.
