The Marion Independent School Foundation & Alumni Association is exited to share that we recently received grant funding in the amount of $6,150 from GreenState Credit Union for three projects during the 2021-2022 school year. Funds will support the following initiatives:
*Families and Schools Together (FASTWORKS), which offers a mix of virtual and in-person monthly family engagement events at each of the four MISD K-8 schools. These events connect parents and students to each other, school staff and to important community resources.
*2022 Senior Awards Night reception at Marion High School, recognizing graduating seniors for educational successes, volunteer service and the receipt of scholarship awards.
*Hole Sponsorship and Foursome Combo for the Friday, September 24th Marion Foundation Golf Classic at Gardner Golf Course (Squaw Creek) in Marion.
