Today is the start of National Volunteer Week, an annual celebration to promote and show appreciation for volunteerism and volunteering. Volunteers make a difference in supporting education for the benefit of Marion Independent School District students, schools and the greater community in a variety of amazing ways including:
- Serving on the Marion School Foundation Board
- Participating in the Alumni Engagement Committee
- Serving on the Marion Foundation Golf Classic Planning Committee
- Volunteering for events including Start School Right, Holiday Giving and Golf
- Assisting with office tasks including data entry, creating displays and preserving our history
- Helping us to promote Dine Out For Our Schools (and dining out!)
Thank you to everyone who shares their time, talent and treasure to support education in the Marion Independent School District. We see and appreciate you!
