On October 6, 2020 staff and board from the Marion Foundation met at Farmers State Bank for a check presentation. Farmers State Bank showed their support for the Marion Independent School District by sharing an annual gift to the Marion Foundation of $6,000 and a gift of $12,500 as part of $50,000 total given to the Marion Builds Opportunity campaign to renovate the Marion High School Auditorium. Highlights of this project include an improved sound system, lighting and stage resurfacing. The auditorium is receiving additional use this year as a classroom to accommodate larger class sizes and to promote social distancing. Thank you to Farmers State Bank for this amazing donation!
