Alisabeth Von Presley Represents Iowa on NBC

Soon you will have the opportunity to vote for America’s favorite song, and Iowa will be represented by Marion’s own Alisabeth Von Presley!  Alisabeth (MHS Class of 2005) has been selected to join 55 artists to perform an original song on NBC’s #AmericanSongContest, premiering March 21st at 7 PM on NBC.

“Modern, hair band hero, Alisabeth Von Presley, is keeping glitter rock alive with powerfully personal lyrics and all the glam and glitz you could want. Her music is rooted in her own life experiences and inspires her fans to find their own voice.”

During her time at Marion High School Alisabeth was involved in a variety of activities including dance team, girls track, concert band, concert choir and drama. She was homecoming queen, a member of the National Honors Society, and on her class leadership team.

Since graduating from MHS, Alisabeth has done many things to pursue her love of music including theater shows, live concerts, creating music albums (“Diamonds in the Blackout” and “Pink Renegade”) and motivational speaking at local high schools. She owns her own photography studio and currently works as producer at Stillwater Coffee, a rockin’ female owned coffee shop located in Hiawatha, Iowa.

According to her mother Brenda, Alisabeth was contact by NBC about a new music writers contest in October 2021.  After a very long five months of interviews, photo shoots and preparation, she will be representing Iowa on this new TV show!

We hope that you will join us in voting for Alisabeth Von Presley on March 21st.
