Hills Bank awarded $1,082.66 to the Marion Independent School Foundation & Alumni Association in June. The funds were collected through this year’s Classroom Cash program, which allows Hills Bank customers to designate Marion Independent School District as their district of choice. Then a percentage of debit card purchases are donated to Marion schools at no cost to the customer. The funds are used to support programs and services that enhance education, including the Marion Grant program, which provides teachers an opportunity to apply for funding for projects that benefit students.
Since the program began in 2004, $16,791.44 has been donated to the Marion Independent School Foundation & Alumni Association. If you already have a Hills Bank debit card, you can help by filling out an easy online application at HillsBank.com/Classroom-Cash or by visiting any Hills Bank location. Many thanks to Hills Bank for their ongoing support!
