Parent Donors Share Books with MISD Students

Thank you to Marion Independent School District parents Cody and Jeni Crawford who raised $750 selling handmade face masks to promote literacy for local students. Funds were used to purchase 170 new books which were distributed to Marion students during lunch pick-up on April 30th at Vernon Middle School. Librarian Liz Pearson and FMI Media Associate Becca Kramer selected and handed out a variety of popular books including What if You Had Animal Feet? and The Lightening Thief to encourage students to continue reading while school is closed.
