Zhen E (pronounced Jenny) Rammelsberg joined the Marion Independent School Foundation & Alumni Association in December 2022 as Alumni Relations Director. In this role, Zhen E looks forward to utilizing her Public Relations and Social Media Marketing and Communication degrees as well as her background in event planning. Zhen E looks forward to working with former classmates and helping them plan their reunions, working on historical archiving, as well as updating Facebook and the Marion Foundation website.
Zhen E has many years as an entrepreneur and over 20 years working with non-profits on their boards, helping with marketing and other operational activities. An avid lover of learning and education, Zhen E has multiple degrees and has lived in the Marion area for almost 30 years. Her son, Jordan, graduated in 2010 from MISD and was active in drumline and band. Jordan and his family now live in the Chicago area.
Zhen E also works as the Curator of the Visual Arts Galleries at CSPS Hall in Newbo Area of Cedar Rapids. She is also a published playwright, and is active in an Adoptee Voices Writing group and has read her pieces in multiple states and countries. When Zhen E and her husband, Robert, aren’t taking care of their 5 cats, they love to hike, bike, cook, produce or attend plays, and travel to all over the Midwest or to Korea.
