The Marion Foundation in collaboration with MISD opened a 25-year time capsule on December 8, 2020. The capsule was placed in the district administrative wing of Marion High School during a Capstone Ceremony in 1995 when that wing of the building was built. Capsule contents include essays from students at Marion High School, Starry and Emerson, various photos, information regarding district technology use at the time, board planning documents, yearbooks and more.
