Who knew eating out could be such a force for good?
At this year’s Dine Out for Our Schools event, local restaurants donated up to 20% of their proceeds to support Marion and Linn-Mar schools. Donations were split equally between the two districts, so all students benefited.
This year’s event was a success, with twenty restaurants participating!
Participating restaurants in 2026 included Barker’s Ice Cream and More, Chick-fil-A Lindale, Culver’s, Feedwell Kitchen & Bakery, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, The Freeze, Goldfinch Tap + Eatery, Hy-Vee Market Grille, Jersey Mike’s, Jimmy John’s, La Cantina, Mextizo, Noodles & Company, NutriSport & Smoothie, Pancheros, Red Robin, Rio Burritos, Villa’s Patio Mexican Restaurant, Your Pie, Zio Johno’s.
