Congratulations to Morgan Paige, Marion High School Class of 2010, for joining the University of Kansas women’s basketball staff as Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator! Morgan was a basketball and volleyball standout at Marion High School who went on to a successful college and professional career. She was inducted into the MHS Hall of Fame in 2017.
Morgan was a four-time All-State selection at Marion High School in basketball including First Team All-State her final three years. She finished as the all-time leading scorer in basketball for both season and career points. She also holds the school record for points in a game with 43. Morgan finished first all-time in assists, second all-time in rebounds, and third all-time in steals for her career. She led Marion to three Wamac Championships and two State Tournament berths. She was named to the 2008 and 2010 State All-Tournament teams.
Paige graduated from Wisconsin in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in life sciences communication and is currently pursuing her master’s degree from Iowa State in leadership and learning. She also spent time playing professionally in Romania with CSM Craiova in Craiova, Romania.
It is wonderful to see Marion High School alumni make such an impact in the sports world.
